Do you realize how stupid these threads are? It's like saying, "Potomac prices are catching up with Beverly Hills," and then posting a few of the highest prices houses in Potomac.

Oakton has tons of homes over $2m. This is not a good example - unless op is realtor or owner.

Yeah, A home right on Blake Ln. is a hard pass. That is the street that numerous kids have been run over, hit by cars, and killed on.

It will only get worse with the new development going in. 800+ housing units plus retail. That area is a failed experiment in FFX County's lack of any sort of zoning or planning.

Why are you trying to make Oakton happen so hard OP? You posted about Oakton last week too. Cringe.

I heard Ffx co was looking into making a pedestrian overpass for the highschool.

The problem is the road, there are two ways to head west in that general location Nutley or Blake Lane, and the quickest way through is Blake, drivers cut through from metro, Lee Hwy, 50, and 66 to 66, and 66 express, 123 and Jermantown, no overpass can fix the fact that residents can’t safely cross the road on any parts of Blake.

It’s a major road that cuts through a dense neighborhood. Who would pay 2.5 million to live on a major road where children and families are routinely injured/killed in mv accidents.

Especially if you have to enter and exit your property directly to/from that death road.

The original grossly paid for this ugly home on a dangerous road. $2.5m. Ha ha!!
