| Are Bombas worth it for kids? I also noticed the Youth size tops out at size 3. Do you buy the Women’s small in that case? Or what do 7-9 year olds do for Bombas sizing if shoe size is 3.5? |
| Just get a pack of socks for your kid at Target. Do they really need “bombas” socks? |
|
Unless your kid's feet aren't going to grow anymore, absolutely not.
For an adult worth every penny. |
| What do you mean by worth it? What is supposed to be special about socks that I am not aware of? |
I have been buying socks at Target and they fall apart after a couple of wears/washes. And the ones I find in store are 97% poly. |
Which do you get for adults? Why is it worth it to you. Asking as an adult who just wears whatever is on offer as a multipack at Target. |

Yes Bombas are worth it to me. It's the only brand in our drawers now. My 10 year old wears the mens small, size 6 feet.
I pass them on to my nephews when he outgrows. They make it through 4 kids before breaking down and everyone loves how comfortable they are. I replace mine every 18 months or so. |
| My bombas wore through quicker than my other socks but I expect socks to last longer than 18 months |
Im PP that replaces around 18 months and I am hard on my socks. They get worn and washed 2x or 3x per week. I sweat alot, walk a lot, etc. Bombas stay cushy longer than other brands, they are the right level of soft for me, and they keep their shape. Other brands of socks get holes but also get loose and dont stay around my ankle. Im sure there are people with less needy feet who survive on other brands! |
I had the same experience, bombas socks developed holes so quickly. |
You have to replace them EVERY 18 MONTHS? |
| My kids wear bombas, I feel like they are worth it. I usually buy a new batch every January and toss all of the ragged ones. I think we usually keep around half of the previous years batch. They hold up the best out of any that we have tried. |
| We bought several sets for my son, the first got holes super quickly but Bombas replaced them. Then we got stuck in the in-between youth and adult sizing so haven't bought any for a while. Now my son is almost to a men's small and we will likely buy a few more sets soon. They fit well and are soft. I like quality undergarments/socks for myself, just because my kid is a kid, doesn't mean he also can't enjoy soft socks...especially since he arguably is running around more than I am. |
This. I resisted for the longest time, but broke down and got a pair because of the claim that their socks won’t slip. I needed boot socks for my work boots and all other socks kept slipping down, which drove me nuts. Now I’m fully in the cult. They’re my favourite, but no way am I spending that kind of money for my kids socks. They get Old Navy. |
| I just bought some Hanes Absolute Active and it appears they’re an attempted dupe for Bombas. Me and my kids really like them… never thought I’d be smitten with a sock but here we are. Price point is much more palatable, so might want to give a pack of these a try first. |
