Senior Year Grades sent in for ED or EA?

We are in Montgomery County. Wondering if only Freshman through Junior year grades are sent in the transcript for college admission if DD is applying for ED and EA deadlines. You would think AO, at the least, want to see grades from 1st quarter of senior year, no? MCPS Quarter 1 ends on 10/31.

Yes, 1st quarter grades will be sent when available, even if after the deadline/after everything else is sent.

I thought it is only if the school requests the grades.

Q1 grades are only sent by request, and only a few ED schools request them.

As noted, the only senior grades that our MCPS HS sent out automatically were the mid-year/semester ones, which were too late to be considered even by late-deciding EA schools (like U-MD and U-VA, which report at the end of January or early February). Your HS's college counselor should be able to tell you which schools regularly ask for Q1 grades for EA/ED applicants. My sense was that it was very few, but it's probably worth knowing if your DC's ED school (if they are applying ED) is among them
