Air duct wrapping, mold

| We have excessive condensation on an air duct which led to some mold behind drywall and along floorboards. Fixing this would be a one day job requiring cutting out drywall, wrapping ducts, replacing drywall, and of course with proper mold gear. I have an estimate from a company I used and liked before of $3K. Does that seem right or would you get other estimates? I know mold remediation is an area with a lot of fraud so inclined to use the company I’ve liked before but wanted to gut check that price estimate. Thanks! |

| 3k seems very reasonable. Do you know how expensive dry wall is currently? And labor? |

| I think any company advertising anything to do with mold or “mold gear” is a scam. |
