DBT program reviews

Can anyone comment on the reputations and results of the teen DBT programs offered by Capitol Youth Services, the Bethesda Group (also called The DBT Group), and Julie Baron and associates?

Appreciate hearing about any experiences with these programs and how the particular formats worked or did not work for your teen. Thanks.

My adult child had a successful experience a few years ago with The Bethesda Group/The DBT Group with Jay Hardin, who ran an adolescent/young adult group at the time. The comprehensive program of individual therapy, group therapy (virtual at the time), and phone support were very helpful. If I remember correctly, my AD did two rounds back-to-back since we had heard that more than one was often needed.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I do not recommend Julie Baron. Don't know about the others who work for her.
