Tavern on the green? Huh? |
| Blue Hill at Stone barns |
| If you can pare that down to 100 or so, the River Cafe is amazing - quintessential NYC location and excellent food and there are a zillion good bars / cafes / etc in walking distance for post-reception merriment |
I went to a wonderful wedding at Tavern on the Green! Why are you so puzzled by this? I also got married at a restaurant. |
I did too but it was a long time ago. |

“Best”? I’m not sure there’s a consensus. You could just pick your favorite restaurant and have it there.
I’d probably pick the Yale Club. |

Harvard Club of New York
Brooklyn Botanical Garden Central Park Boathouse 3 West Club |

Mandarin Oriental, though the space is big for 125
If you have infinite budget, see if you can rent out a favorite, top restaurant. New York Historical |
| If you're talking about getting the "best," you can afford a wedding planner from NYC who can help you think this through. |

River Cafe is really lovely. Plaza hotel weddings are gorgeous. NYPL weddings also gorgeous.
As a former Yale Club member, that’s also a nice place for a wedding, you could have a wedding on the roof if not getting married in a church and reception in their gorgeous ballroom. Food is good and drinks especially are fantastic. |

| I loved the River Cafe but not sure the capacity. I remember it being a little cramped - but so NYC |
