What's my attraction? Phermones?
I'm a chubby middld aged lady fwiw Even in an empty room, someone will just stand right near me. Sometimes I feel friendly and sometimes I feel annoyed. I need my 6 feet of safe distance space back |
| Carry fart spray. |
| People do this to me. I look really plain, which I think translates to benign in people’s heads. If there’s a huge empty room or beach or restaurant, I can guarantee someone will end up as close to me as possible. I never get my own seat on a train or bus because I’m the first person people sit next to when all the other seats have just 1 person in them. |
| Maybe they are trying to to traffic you? |
Good luck trying to carry me away! |
Wut, you too?? |
Would you rather people look at you funny like you might steal their purse when they turn away? You probably also don't have resting b__ face. Which is another win. |
Hah! I bet I'm safe too. |
| This happens to me all the time on the Metro and it’s always a man! It’s such a rapey thing to do. |
| Is it cultural or is it everyone. Some cultures don't have personal space. Fact. But there's no excuse in an empty room. That's just bizarre. |
| Six feet is a huge amount of required personal space. I don’t like to shout when I have a conversation. |
| Too many spray and pray shootings today. I always try and stand near people who look like they could suck up a few bullets. |
Using that word for such a benign situation really cheapens it. |
How is standing next to you equivalent to s*xual assault? Did he force himself on you or was he just…standing in a public place where he was legally allowed to be? Did you file a police report because he was rapey (whatever that means)? |
6 feet is stranger distance. Much smaller personal space bubble needed for friends and family |
