| Plums are really good this year. I got the small, slight-larger-than cherry tomato kind at Trader Joe's a week or two ago and just bought the large poolball sized ones and man, they are really, really good. Fruit from Trader Joe's is usually subpar so I'm guessing this is a very good year for plums. Get them while you can. |

I bought the cherry plums and I craved them the other night after i went to bed. I went down to have some and my son and husband were amused that I would get out of bed for plums. |

Yes, I bought a container at the farmers market last weekend, and I wish I'd bought three! Going back this weekend to load up.
Peaches and tomatoes have been ok, not the best. I think the late cold snaps followed by immediate scorching heat have been hard on them. My garden veggies all bolted early. |
