Sometimes people change. My friend said her mom used to be the most liberal person ever, and about 15 years ago became a Fox News junkie. When we discussed it with our wider friend group, we found about half the parents of our friends became MAGA/Trumpers. Relieved my dad has stayed strong (though he thinks the only thing about being a feminist is supporting abortion, but I'll take what I can get.) |

Pretty sure she had a TBI and it dramatically impacted her personality. She wasn’t always a MAGA-loving conspiracy theorist. The girl basically is a disabled old lady thanks to brain damage. I feel sorry for her. Her old friends from her stand-up days have pointed this out. It’s sad. SAD.

I think she's permanently cancelled. Her character was killed off on her own show and the show continued on successfully without her.

Yea but it did well. Ran for 7 seasons or something on a prime time network - that is exceedingly rare. I give her credit for building the show - but agree with a PP that the speculation about a TBI or at the least mental illness makes sense. The original show was the opposite of MAGA and way ahead of its time at shining a spotlight on abortion rights, domestic violence, inequality, racism, tolerance, etc. |

She was written off her show because she basically came out as a Nazi. Not just MAGA, but full Nazi. TBI or not, that’s it. Unforgivable.
It went even a step beyond Mel’s anti-Semitic rant. I personally will never forgive him and am shocked that Hollywood gave him a second chance. |
