"Separation Season"

How much work is your top league kid doing this summer?
How much have you signed them up for because you thought they were not doing enough?
Is anyone slumming it away with a fitness packet, no extra thousandS in fees or just my kid?

Bigger money grab?

Super Y or 3 v 3s?

Whatever method people choose, kids separate during the summer.

Whether it is camps, 3v3, 5v5, USL Y, etc, more touches on the ball, the better.

Why?
Why are you asking?
I don’t understand why so much discussion on the soccer forum about what everyone else’s kid is doing.
My U14 is doing small group training twice a week but missing some weeks for other things. Thats it. There is a balance.

Separation season is an instagram filler post so that “parent managers” can post the one drill done right by their kid a few times a week.

Don’t fall for the illusion.

You sound pretty dissatisfied with your own life. What do you care about what other people and their children are doing? What a loser.

Not much different than the people totally occupied by the club where their kid isn't a player

I am genuinely curious. Why are you on a soccer forum in the summer if your kid is not involved?

Recovery is also a part of the development process.

Don't get doing nothing confused with tapering and active recovery

I am over invested in my kids soccer and like to stay on top of it.
