I received my mailed rif notice today. Information is still wrong. They had also added a bunch of years of service for good performance before which has now been removed so the severance is paltry. I’m contacting HR tomorrow, but can’t afford a private attorney. Any advice on what I can do.

Your performance only adds years to your RIF ranking, they were correct to not count it as part of your severance. I'm sorry you got RIFd.

This tracks. We knew my agency was in for a RIF and have been waiting. Sword of Damocles and all that.

It's sad they can't just tell everyone the plan instead of hiding it in court filings.
