A few weeks ago, I was concerned on missing out on international gains. Vanguard Investment Chief is suggesting pivoting away from US stocks because lower predicted US stocks gains in the next decade in comparison to international, and recommending rebalancing portfolios gradually. Any thoughts? |

"Over the past ten years, the S&P returned an average of 12.4% annually. We’re predicting the figure to drop to between 3.8% and 5.8% (midpoint of 4.8%) over the next decade."
IDK OP. That's basically what Jack Bogle said about 10 years ago before he died. I think it's fair to say he was off the mark on that prediction. |

My amateur analysis is US stocks are over-valued, and there’s room for growth in international markets.
I’m still investing a little in US ETFs and stocks, but lately I’ve been putting more into non-US funds. |

| Diversifying (inc international stock index funds) is always the safest bet AND it is also always true that when you look backwards there will always be a way that you could have made more money if you were less diversified. that does not make it the wrong choice. I currently have some money Vanguard's international fund and I plan to keep it there. |
Which fund do you have? |
Different poster but I have vfwsx and it’s done amazing well, especially since April. |
| AVDE from Avantis is a solid choice. Most of their funds have beaten their relative index so far. |
