I really need to curb my phone use, especially on this site! But I don’t want to block it forever.
Do you use an app that successfully helps you manage your time so you don’t spend too much on your phone? Thanks! |
| Most phones have some kind of screen time setting, I would start there. What kind of phone do you have? |
| I have an iPhone 16. Is it in settings? |
| Will power |
| Opal |
Yes. Settings then screen time. You can tell it to only allow DCUM for 30 min or whatever |
Thank you! And for the pp who said will power…trust me I’ve tried I don’t do drugs, smoke, or drink alcohol. I eat healthy and exercise. I can’t be perfect 🤷🏻♀️

| I love “one sec”. It fully blocks apps. It’s easy to use and set up. Life changing! |
+1 I’ve also used one sec but I really found diminishing returns, as you get used to the delay and just power through it. Opal has a really strong block, it’s worked well for me. I’ve used it two ways - for a while I had it set to lock all the “good” apps (including Safari, cause otherwise you can just go to the web versions of everything) after an hour of use each weekday. And now I’m better about that and have turned that off, but have it set to block everything at 10:30pm so I go to bed. I’ve been pleased with it. |

The Brick. It’s a physical device that you need to unlock so you can’t just enter a password. But you can’t set it to automatically lock stuff. You have to push the button to activate it.
Great for bedtime and I leave the brick downstairs |
Is there an app for that? Categorized under sanctimonious? |
