Recommendation dorm bed side table

DS needs one - raised bed, but not loft. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Let me guess. You did a bed party.

There are probably 300 options on wayfair

Perhaps something that is multifunction such as a chair or barstool that could double as a table or seating.

Are you sure his dorm doesn't come with one? My son's dorm has a clip-on ledge on each bed and my son has found it's enough for his phone and whatever else he needs to keep bedside.

The nice thing about wayfair is you can search by the height you need. Find out how high the bed is (including the mattress) and work with that. Something like a 2 or 3 drawer filing cabinet might be a great way to add storage and double as a bedside table.

My DS had this at his bed at home - and purchased a 2nd for dorm

Check Marketplace around the college and see what people are selling.

If you are drivable and want to reuse and want something solid and useable - the Alex drawers from IKEA are nice.

Otherwise if it needs to be more moveable choose something from Target like suggested.

1. Super easy to DIS-assemble when it is time to move out.
2. Lightweight. Easy to pack up.
3. Rolls under the bed when you want it too be out of the way.
4. $15!
5. Can be used in a variety of functions later if you don't need it by the bed. Use it in the bathroom or kitchen (when you have an apartment).

This. My kid put his water bottle, eyeglasses, phone charger, etc on it. Easy to access.

With a shelf you risk knocking the stuff off getting in/our of bed/in your sleep.

Dd has a narrow rolling cart. Comes with drawers for the win

Most kids I know used the set of plastic drawers from Target.

We bought something like this. It’s mostly enclosed but has an open shelf and the top. It is the perfect height for her raised (non-lofted) dorm bed
