Low AMH and oral contraceptives

Did anyone else get a falsely low AMH level while taking contraceptives? I am having my levels tested because I’m thinking about egg freezing, and my AMH level is low. I’ve read this can be a false result if you’re on oral birth control

I froze my eggs at age 30 because of low AMH. I was taking oral contraceptives at the time, and had not heard about a link between the two. I was only able to freeze 4 eggs. I then got pregnant naturally and easily at 32, 34 (miscarriage), and 35, and now have two healthy children. While I do not regret freezing my eggs, I do think centers can put a lot of pressure and some artificial stress on women with low AMH.

I agree with PP. I had an AMH of 0.13 when TTC my son. And had him naturally that same year. I did do ISTWE stuff tho.

I had low AMH without BCP, doc told me to supplement with CoQ10–she did say her only evidence was anecdotal. A month later my AMH was great and I got pregnant the following cycle. YMMV.
