I can't update chrome/browsers because my operating systems are too old and can't be upgraded

Hello, I have a few computers which work well for everything else although now I'm having some issues because I can't update chrome/internet browsers because my operating systems is too old and can't be updated. Memory is maxed out on these computers as well. I have OS X Capitan on the one I use the most. I really don't want to buy new ones just for internet use it seems so wasteful and I'm only having an issue on a a few websites. Is there any other option for me? Thank you.

Buy a tablet. Browse on that.

"Planned obsolescence" is a thing in the last couple decades.

"You will rent everything, you will own nothing of value, you will be happy with it."

Look into "Open Core Legacy Patcher". It is not from Apple and is not supported by Apple, but it lets one update MacOS for older legacy hardware.

Caution: do not expect that "new features" which first appeared in the later OS versions will work on legacy hardware. It will, however, have the patches and bug fixes and things like Chrome updates should still work.
