Best area winery for a birthday celebration?

How far are you willing to drive and do you have any specific needs (should it serve food or snacks, do you care about whites vs reds, do you want to combo it with any other activity)?

I do think Stone Tower is a good recommendation.

I like Sugarloaf up in Maryland but specifically because I like to combo the mountain hike with the winery.

I am planning to visit two, with a party bus, so as long as one has food that will be enough.
This is for a 40th birthday and will be 35 people

Please make sure you call ahead and make reservations for that. Stick with the larger wineries.

A lot of wineries no longer take party busses. The company you’re reserving with should be able to make recommendations for you since you’ll be limited.
