Teen still go to pediatric dentist

| Mine did up until age 18. Might have to find one in college location. 6 month cleaning schedule doesn't work with at home times. |

| Our pediatrician takes kids until they graduate from college; pediatric dentist takes kids until 21. My kids are very happy and know they could switch sooner if they want. |

| I remember being home from college and running into HS friends at our pediatric dentist. My oldest is only 15 but he still goes to our ped dentist. And pediatrician. We will switch when the kids request it. I have told them they can switch any time. |

We moved across town when my kids were in middle school. I switched to a dentist down the street, found him to be nice and capable, and moved the kids.
But if we had stayed in the same house, I am sure we would have stayed with the pediatric dentist until they got kicked out, or at least until the kids expressed a desire to move. I don't fix what isn't broke. |
