| Since having my babies, this cat is nothing but extra work. I have zero patience left for her. All work, no enjoyment. Her timing is perfection. I hope she doesn't know. Actually, I don't care, I f'ing hate the cat! |
| You're an awful person. I bet your firstborn baby knows that you hate him too, because you love the second baby more. And every subsequent baby after that is your favorite. Cats are awesome, they provide nothing but unconditional love and affection, and your hatred of your cat means that you clearly have no capacity to love any other creature. You should divorce your husband and give him custody of all your kids AND the cat, and then go drive yourself off a cliff. |
| I agree. You sound like a really horrible person. |
| Why don't you tell the cat! You are a liar and a coward if you don't tell the cat asap. |
| Have you ever thought that your cat is actually a very very clever cat? Have you ever thought that your cat is the smartest cat ever and can barely tolerate your lies and manipulations either? |
| I hate cats. But then I've always hated cats. Don't know how you could have one for years and then decide you hate it. |
That makes two of us. I hate cats in general, so I'm totally on board with hating YOUR cat.
|
| Everyone hates their cat after they have children. Seriously. The cat takes up time and energy you no longer have to spare. Find someone who wants the cat. |
| I HATE cats too!!! take it to the pound! |
| Thank god. All I have to say is thank god my broad minded, soul searching cat is smarter than hell and knows when she has been dealing with the creepest most awful owners on the planet. What else did you expect from her? To just walk away without trying to understand? |
| I hated my dog for a while after my son was born. So much fur, so much drool, and my god, the barking! She woke the baby up at least once a day. The baby is now 1.5 and while she still woke him up this morning, I like her a lot better now. And maybe more importantly, my son loves her, to the point of ridiculousness. She happened to be looking in his direction last night when she (of course) started barking and it made him cry. The heartbroken kind of crying he does on the few occasions where I've raised my voice at him to keep him from hurting himself. |
I think this is an inaccurate generalization. I still love my cat to pieces. And I love the way 9mo DD and the cat interact. They are precious together. My favorite moments are curled up on the couch holding my baby, snuggled up to DH, with kitty on my lap. OP--If you feel that strongly, please find someone else to take the cat. It's not fair to either of you. |

This is exactly why the only things living in my house are HUMAN!
I knew from the time I was a little girl that I did not like house pets, and have never had the desire to own one. Don't everyone f'ing get in my face for being honest enough to admit it either. Hate dogs, they smell, drool, are hairy, and then you have to pick up their shit?? I think not.... Cats...they are boring to me, and they leave their vomit/hair balls everywhere. Birds and rodents smell. Fish are too much work with all the changing out of the water etc. I don't care how much someone claims that their animals are clean - YOUR HOUSE STINKS...you just can't smell it because you live in it. Go ahead, hate on me.... |
You got a cat because they are less work than a dog, right? But also less fun. And now just work. Don't blame you. Find an new home for her, you're not likely to start liking her again. Cats are boring, shed like crazy, and the litter...ugh. |
