Compass Ed Group?

I’m interested in folks’ experiences with Compass Education Group. Our school uses it for sample testing (PSAT and ACT), and the product appears to be sound. For those who have used it, how close was their predictive modeling in your experience? Have others used it for test prep and/or other services? Thanks.

Our school uses it too but we haven’t done anything yet beyond join some webinars they’ve hosted. Also interested in hearing from folks with experience with them.

DD used Compass and DS currently using for test prep. DD did extremely well and modeling was very close. Tutors were amazing. She’s currently using Princeton Review for graduate exams and does not like them as much as when she used Compass. She said Compass was better at helping specifically with individual weaknesses. Princeton Review, even for the individual classes, uses the same formula for everybody.

Our school uses it too. Both my kids have taken a few of their practice exams both SAT/ACT. The results seem to be pretty close to what the actually scored. Moreso than the bluebook practice SAT. For one kid is clearly states that one exam would be better than the other which will make it easier to focus on studying for just that test. However, for the other it said it was a judgement call so he ended up taking both and scored similarly according to conversion tables.

Neither has taken any of their prep classes though.

Interested too has anyone used their other (essay etc) services?

We used compass for act test prep. Did private sessions. Best investment. Great tutors and process.
