ughhhh I hate these spotted lantern fly nymphs

Anonymous
They're constantly getting into our house because there are so many everywhere now. Worse, they're extremely difficult to kill because they're SO fast and often escape when you try to crush them. They're killing one of my shrubs I've been trying to establish for 3 years now. The adult SLFs are going to be so numerous soon they're going to blot out the sun. I HATE these bastards!

My son is sad the nymphs are gone. He diligently plucked and crushed all of them on the shrubs around our house.

They’re swarming everywhere in Rockville.

I carry a fly swatter outside on my deck now! They’re starting to turn into adults here in Loudoun. Ugh.

Now imagine how they feel about you, not letting them in to share your house, or killing them if they are going about their daily life even when outside and respecting your space.
