| Title. Wanted to go out to try Peruvian chicken after a positive experience at the Crisp and Juicy in Rockville Pike. Any other good Peruvian chicken places, at least around the Rockville or Gaithersburg area. |
| We love Chicken on the Run in Bethesda and liked Sardi’s Pollo a la Brasa in Gaithersburg last time we were there a couple of years ago. Can’t really recall having bad Peruvian chicken around here. We are lucky to have easy access to it. |
| We are fans of Apollo Central in Aspen Hill. The fried rice chaufa is the best! |
| We’ve enjoyed Sardi’s Pollo a la Brasa as well. We haven’t tried the new Peruvian Charcoal Chicken & Grill in Kentlands yet. If you’re ever in the Wheaton area, try El Pollo Rico. When they were in a smaller storefront, they’d have lines out the door and they’d sell out almost every day before closing. |

I miss Crisp & Juicy. That was my OG Peruvian chicken.
How similar are other vendors? Is the green sauce pretty identical from place to place? |
|
Piggy backing ..
It’s in Wheaton El Pollo Rico @ University/Georgia The best around |
| I like Don Pollo over by the Home Depot at the intersection of Shady Grove and Gaither Road. Green sauce is spicy chili sauce and pretty similar place to place. |
| Poyoteca in Fallsgrove is good! |
We got your the Pollo Rico by the Home Depot at Westlake, and I like it a lot but have been wondering how it compares to crisp and juicy in Kensington. Thoughts welcome. |
I tried the Don Pollo on Shady Grove but found it drying. My go to is still Crisp and Juicy in Rockville. I also like their sauce the best. |
| I love Sardis, but its expensive..good news OP is that if you live closer to Rockville Pike by Twinbrook or North Bethesda, they are opening a new Sardis at the Loehmanns Plaza. |
| Honestly, Crisp n Juicy has consistently been the best. |
+1 |
| Don Pollo - multiple locations: Shady Grove, Veirs Mill, and Germantown |

Their ceviche is amazing too. |
