More double mortgage auto-deductions from the hated Mr. Cooper (nee Nationstar)

Anonymous
This is the third month where Mr. Cooper has double charged us for our mortgage. The past two months the payments were a week apart (first of the month and then the seventh) and we were able to cancel the duplicate payment before it went through. This month the payments were a day apart and we just noticed. Yes, we are shutting off autopay. We should have done this the first month but my husband spoke to the company numerous times, we filed a complaint, the research center got involved, and we thought they had the problem fixed.

Nothing to be done, just a head up to others that Mr. Cooper is f---ing up yet again in a new and different way, so check your accounts and turn off your autopay. Don't rely on them to fix anything.

There are few companies I can think of that have a sketchier name than Mr. Cooper.

Every time I hear it, all I can think of is D.B. Cooper, who parachuted out of a plane with other people's money.

I never do auto-pay via the retailer for big things, I prefer to schedule it via my bank. Push vs pull.

Yet another reason to hate Mr. Cooper. I hate BofA for selling my mortgage to them.
