are students compelled to move after a border change?

FCPS border review came out. I'm quite worried for my 2 kids since we just recently moved to Virginia. They are 2 shy introverts and it took a while for them to have their own circle of friends and adjust. However, with the border review coming out and our city being unlisted in the jurisdiction of our HS, I'm worried that they have to go through that phase all over again

Has FCPS done this before? I'm not familiar with Virginia policy but can students be displaced that easily? It's not really a transportation issue since this current HS is just a 30 minute drive.
