| We are traveling 8ish hours and want to bring a few snacks that aren’t easy to find at our destination. We have an insulated cube cooler (24-can size) and three of those huge hard side blue ice packs that line three sides of the cooler. Will these be enough to keep some soft cheese (like Brie) and a few containers of dips cold for the drive, do you think? |
| Yes, it will be fine |
| yes |
| Yes I’m anal and this wouldn’t bother me. Put some actual ice on the bottom too. |
| Yes we have regularly driven 8 hours with a small cooler with snacks. |
| Yes, totally fine. |
| Assuming you eat it half way through it should be fine. |
Because nothing says vacation like Brie on the side of the highway
WTF. It’s fine for 8 hours in a cooler. |
How do you know OP is taking a highway, or a route that does not include a scenic spot to enjoy a picnic? |
No but she clearly states they want to take this for the trip. Not some road trip picnic. But have your Brie with exhaust fumes. I hear it’s lovely |
