| Heard about this for the first time and the description of Irish high school students made me think of Normal People, which I loved. Curious if anyone has read these books? Sounds like there are six total in the series. I’m iffy on YA books - some I think are really well done and I love and others just don’t strike the right tone for me (an adult). |

I read the first. It’s very YA. Which can be ok, but I didn’t like them enough to read more of the series.
The writing is nothing like Rooney’s writing, which I love. It’s decent writing, but totally different one and audience. |
