Okay, tongue and cheek but I've been applying for a new job for months and just got a ping from a recruiter for one of the positions to have an intro call this week. I leave for the beach on Friday and now wondering if I need to pack a work appropriate outfit just in case... or will I jinx it?
If driving yes.
I wouldn't, but I don't expect people I'm interviewing via vide to wear a blazer. Just tell them you're away from home but would still love to do the interview.
Tongue IN cheek.
I would bring it. Why give yourself even ten seconds of worry about not having brought it?
Yes
Yes. One chance for first impression and alll that. It's not that hard to pack a blazer.
Yes!
I've packed a full suit. So, yes.
Is this for a potential zoom or a potential in-person?
You only need to be presentable from the waist up, so yes you bring a blazer, dress shirt, and tie. I have done this before when job hunting, even when traveling by plane with only a carryon suitcase. They don’t take up much space.
Not a blazer. But a nice shirt or blouse that you look great in yes.
