Comforter or blanket for summer nights

DD loves to sleep with a blanket or comforter no matter how hot it is. Anyone have suggestions on a blanket or comforter that won’t be too hot during the summer months?

A waffle cotton blanket. The same kind massage places use.

Something non-synthetic. Poly plastic blankets will trap moisture and be awful.

I use a flat flannel sheet as a summer blanket. It is thin but gives a touch of weight.

Get a nice Indian cotton quilt. I have ones from Anokhi but there are plenty of other options too.

Ibena in Germany makes blankets of 58% Cotton / 35% Acrylic / 7% Polyester. I got mine from Lands End which doesn't carry them anymore, but Ibena also sells directly. I use mine all year round. Very easy to wash and dry, unlike comforters. I wash them on hot and they don't smell.
