Ben Tribbett is a local hack who tries unsuccessfully to advance failed causes like a Tysons casino and failed candidates, like Stella Pekarsky, who lost her recent primary for Congress. He has neither brains nor a filter, and he's quickly rendering himself a complete embarassment to the Democrats who've hired him for advice in the past.

His latest idiocy is to go on Twitter and complain that the Washington Post featured a sports piece on two, in his words, "gay divers" rather than give adequate attention to the sacking of the Nationals' GM and head coach (Rizzo and Martinez). As it turns out, however, the "gay divers" are two straight twins from Fairfax County who were profiled because their college scholarships to UVA and NC State were recently pulled as those schools are now paying so much money to football and basketball players that they're cutting back on other sports programs.

That's a legitimate story, not just from a human interest perspective, but also because it doesn't augur well for the USA in future Olympics if athletes have fewer opportunities to compete in "minor" sports at the college level.

Tribbett apparently can't deal with college kids who aren't pathetic fat turds like him, so he's decided to call them "gay divers" and label them unworthy of attention. I know the family and the parents and kids deserve much better than to be insulted by some ugly washed-up political hack like him.

Tribbett is gross and I can’t think of the last time one of his candidates won. No idea why anyone would hire his Pocket Aces Consulting at this point.

Thanks for the reference to his company. I think he has close ties to the Loudoun County Democrats.
