I’m heading back into an office and trying to prepare by reviewing what’s already in my closet. Are people still wearing cropped pants? Like ankle or above (not capri)? Or is that really out of date? The office will be business casual. I know there aren’t real rules, but I’d rather not look like I just crawled out of a time capsule. |
Yes on hot days |
Absolutely not. Not since the 1990’s. |
Depends on your office, in mine, absolutely. But open toe shoes are also allowed, khakis, and other casual garb. You won't ever catch one of our employees in a suit - ever |
If they fit nice and crisp, yes to ankle length. I consider those classic.
I wore wide leg trousers the other day and hated them. Just wear what works for your body and make sure there aren’t dated accents/buttons/details. |
I just bought a Vince pair a couple weeks ago so yes. The cut is wider/baggier on top. |
They were almost the only pants in the stores up to about 2018 so this just isn’t true. |
Yes. I'm 5'1" and they just fall better than full length. Especially with wider legs in style, I'm not interested in having every pair tailored to go sit in an office on Teams meetings. |
Anything goes at this point. Go for it. Especially if you pair them with new stylish tops. |
