What is there to know about ultimate fighting championship? Do you / have you watched, in person? What's with the hype? |
It’s the truest, most realistic of all the fighting disciplines, at least in terms of how it would resemble an actual real world fight. But with just enough rules to keep things civil and prevent permanent injury.
Unlike actual real world fights. |
+1. Good answer. It’s also very entertaining to watch |
Trashy and low class. Only a matter of time before Dana White introduces fights to the death. |
That's what I'm trying to understand why there is so much interest. But then again, look who won the election.... |
This. Plus it was more realistic and better 30 years ago. It got lame in the last 15 years with all the weight classes and rules. Bring back the Tank Abbott era fighting in a new division. |
Thunderdome would be an excellent way to settle scores. Would help fix the corrupt and biased judicial system for many situations if we brought back dueling in an arena/dome type situation, and would raise mega money on Pay-Per-View and with tickets, merchandise, etc. |
It’s coming soon to a White House lawn near you! |
![]() Whatever, snobby white lady. |
+1 Suburban white women are the worst human beings on the planet. |
I wouldn’t go that far- a lot of people can’t appreciate this! So talented! It’s a body fighting chess! It takes skill and brains!
Why do you think jiu-jitsu is blowing up?! |
My husband and his friends love following the whole UFC thing. Seems fine to me. |
It's a sport and is similar to boxing. What are you asking? |
It is a form of entertainment that helps bind societies together. Rome fell because it put an end to gladiatorial games. |
Well the unchecked invasions by Goths, Vandals, Barbarians, etc. miiiiiiiiiight have had something to do with the fall of the western Roman empire also. ![]() |
