freezing lunch meat?

| Is it okay to freeze deli lunch meats? I'm sick of running to the store every few days for ham or turkey. Do some not freeze well? |

| Yes, they all freeze fine (at least, I've frozen many kinds and they've been fine). |

| I've never done it, but the brand I buy (nitrate free and organic) actually says use or freeze by...date. |

| I buy a pound o so and divide it into smaller portions, put it in freezer ziplock bags and freeze. It tastes fine after defrosting. |
