May 2025 exam results already on university transcript!

The May 2025 AP exam results are set to be released NEXT Monday, Jul 7th --- BUT, you may find out if you passed with a score that gives you credit for your university/college already if you log in to your university's student records/unofficial transcript web page. We already know that my kid passed with a 4 or 5 on his exams b/c the univ. wouldn't give credit for the corresponding college classes if he hadn't. We don't know the scores, but it had to be at the level that equates to credit.

Might want to look.

To clarify, my DS selected his intended university as the "free" recipient of his scores when he took the AP exams in May. So, College Board has already sent the scores out to the university, and their system already converted the AP scores to the equivalent universtity credits.

This is true for lots of schools and you often can see scores in portal of college, they typically arrive the week before scores officially released. Its all over the Reddit page for APstudents

If they already have the scores, why do they wait another week before telling the students (and parents who paid $$) for these tests? This makes no sense.

Yeah, wondering the same thing!

Signed, mother of a rising senior, so obviously this tip won’t help us

Yeah, well, all these kids who can see their credit 3 days early were once juniors who had to wait until the publicized release date.

As for those who graduated this year, and can already see if they passes via their university transcript, look at it as a perk/bonus for being willing to take the risk of sending your scores to a university BEFORE you knew what you would get and before you took the test. I tjink that's fair.
