Period affected by travel?

Anonymous
Not sure if this belongs here or in health, but I just got back from Europe and my period came a day early (though not that early based on the time change) - day 27 as opposed to day 28. My period is always the same day down to the hour almost. Anyone else have period affected by travel? My cramps are way worse as well!!

Yes my period usually is affected by travel. It has been my whole life.

My mother always complained of having her worse periods coincide with our longest flights.

But I really don't think a few hours difference should be something to create a thread about, OP. For future perimenopause, prepare yourself to have a lot more fluctuations than that.

Me too PP, though usually I skip one.

Yes. I took a long flight from US to Beijing and got my period early by a few days. It might have been the circadian rhythm getting thrown off.

Yes this is common.

Maybe you are pregnant.

My cycle had always been irregular, but one thing it never misses is the weeks I’m on vacation!

Yup, always. Inevitably get it on the plane. Can almost guarantee it will happen.

Flying does that

This always happens to me. I just got back from a week in Maine and started my period 3 days early. Last summer I flew to Europe for the eras tour and woke up to it starting an entire WEEK early. I have no idea why this happens.
