City of Alexandria's police say Man found in Holmes Run with duct tape around mouth died of ‘self-inflicted’ gunshot

Two violent news stories out of the city of Alexandria in the last 24 hours: First the story came out yesterday morning that a man was found off Holmes Run Parkway with tape around his mouth and shot to death by a park bench. The news is reporting police are calling this possibly homicide now a suicide.

This second story was first reported that a man stabbed his son then stabbed himself. The news is now reporting that the man has died of a gunshot wound.

I'm getting concerned A. for the increasing crime here and B. the of classification of the initial crimes being reported.
