New 2025 Princeton Review's Best Value Colleges Top 50

Makes sense. That's why they are 3 of the most selective public universities. Great educations at a great value.

Entire list is public schools, so you don't have to click the link.

But is best value limited to instate students? Some of those are quite pricey OOO.

Has to be…though GA Tech would probably still be #1 because it is also good value for OOS.

May also figure in average need-based aid as well.

Yeah, must be. Michigan is like private school prices for OOS. So in some sense this is a little not helpful because if you're seeking VALUE, your real choices are different than this list (though Georgia Tech is a pretty great value even out of state).

On what conception of value could New College count as a "best value" (#24 on the publics list, above Ohio State, UMinn, CU Boulder, and other reputable schools)? Its presence on the list discredits the list.

I've never heard of Princeton Review be referred to as "non credible". Then none of these rankings are credible with that litmus test.

Don't sleep on New College. It's set to surge in the rankings over the next 5-10 years. DeSantis purged it of all the woke bull crap, thank Christ.

Wtf does “featured” mean? Schools that pay to have extra stuff added?

Yes.

The list is meaningless unless you are instate. I would like to see best value list for out of state students.

UVA is way way overpriced for out of state students and SUNY/CUNY schools such as Binghamton, Baruch and the Florida schools on list are a good deal out of state.

Pitt for instance is expensive OOS and cheap on merit aid

This really has to be the dumbest list, ever. Value depends on what the individual student has to pay. Is Lafayette, or Washington & Lee or Babson a good "value" at $90k per year! Absolutely not!! Not saying you won't still get a good education. But value depends on what you, personally, have to pay. Stupid list.
