Governor Youngkin’s Operation Bold Blue Line

Yesterday Governor Youngkin updated the commonwealth on the steps he’s taking to make its citizens safer. He highlighted the strong work of the Virginia Homeland Security Task Force. VHSTF has removed 2,512 violent criminals, who were in the U.S illegally, from the streets of Virginia.

More consequential was his announcement of Operation Bold Blue Line. A key focus of OBBL will be Virginia cities with high crime rates. The governor will deploy additional Virginia State Police personnel into these areas to address spikes in violent crime and make citizens safer.

Additionally, OBBL will focus on stronger law enforcement recruiting, increased law enforcement pay, increased training and equipment resources, new wellness programs for officers and additional victim & witness support. Youngkin reported that the new VSP recruiting class is the largest since 2018 with over 100 incoming candidates.

Don’t forget reduced human trafficking and winning the war against fentanyl. Virginia is back.

If you don't want the law enforced, vote to change the law. If you want the laws enforced, this is a good initiative.

I simply do not believe him. I don't believe that 2500 were violent criminals. He is part of this awful regime and they'll say anything to the morons who will believe them. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, as long as it's something their base wants to hear they'll repeat it over and over again.

Every time I see someone post “police state” it makes me realize that hysterical people don’t have any clue about police states.

In the United States, if you’ve done nothing wrong, it is extremely unlikely that a police officer will stop you. That’s not the hallmark of a police state.
