What are those small tubes I always see taped up on walls in doctor's offices? They are white and about 2 inches long, made of paper or maybe plastic.
where exactly?
Smelling salts, in case someone passes out.

Aha, smelling salts. Thank you.
To the person asking where, I've seen them taped up in examining rooms in a variety of doctor's offices. I've seen them both at my internist and my gyn. Now that I know what they are I can show you a photo: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0008GKYM0/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000MH62F8&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0C25Y38AZ0XQPB043P35 I always wondered. |
I thought those little things hanging in doctor's treatment rooms had to do with allergic reactions? I remember asking my OB once and thinking the answer interesting, and for some reason I want to say it was related to someone having an allergic reaction, but clearly I forgot the answer, so never mind me.
