I think I have a common cold. I had Flu A this winter and it is not as bad at all. It started with mild sore throat on Monday, to the extend that I thought it was LPR or alergies. Then developed mild chils, fatigue and dizziness. No fever. Day 3 and I feel - no energy, fatigue, little sore throat and overall feeling of chills of and off.
No sneezing, slight congestion but no running nose. Is this cold? I had a lot of acitivities planned for the next 4 days including playing in the tournament and I am not feeling up to it now. What can I do to make it better? I taking vitamins, C, Zinc, drinking liquids. Can I be physically active, starting day 4 tomorrow? I have to play as part of the group. |

The new tick-borne disease? |
Time will make it better. You can be physically active whenever you feel like it, but you shouldn't give other people in the tournament your illness if you're sick. |
I had something similar to this two weeks ago. Sore throat and fatigue. Felt like I was getting congested the whole time but never actually did. Throat was super sore though, to the point that I was avoiding talking.
But no sneezing, minimal coughing (would occasionally start coughing at night, take a cough drop and then it would not recur). No fever. Tested for covid and it was negative. It was weird for a cold though. It felt like I was about to get VERY sick the whole time but then I never did. Weird. |
Could be leukaemia. |
Could be covid (serial testing on RAT would be needed) or a regular cold. Either way, probably not a good idea to take part in a tournament. That's asking for trouble. |
