Northwestern and Vanderbilt for Education?

Anonymous
Is anyone familiar with applying to Vanderbilt and/or Northwestern schools of education (Peabody and School of Ed and Social Policy)? These would be regular decision applications - dc has years of assistant teaching and tutoring ECs so it might make sense. Thoughts?

They are highly competitive schools so high GPA, scores and ECs. Not sure any hs kid comes in with years of assistant teaching but that may look good if some niche thing. Mine went in as Weinberg and switching into SESP. No relevant hs ECs.

Thx, lol, I know it sounds ridiculous but she has been part of this program at a nearby school where she is a student teacher 1x/week since 8th grade. Plus tutoring since 8th grade, education internship this summer, won a grant to start a spring/summer ed program at another local school.
