Not a major thing, but totally unprovoked and it showed their true colors.


They tried, but ended up making a fool of themselves because they had misunderstood the situation.

What do you mean “How do you proceed?” You can’t figure this out???

The employee got a natural consequence. Great. You don’t need to say or doing anything. From this point forward, you’re professional and guarded. You know to cover your tracks with follow-up emails and looping in your boss as needed.
