Why isn't Newsom calling up National Guard to defend against Trump's ICE/brownshirt invasion?
This is exactly the sort of thing th National Guard is for.

The Guard is under the command of the state governor and responds to emergencies within the state, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, and search and rescue operations.

He could also deploy the California NG into Washington DC and remove Trump by force. But he hasn’t. Because he doesn’t have the chops for it. A good indicator he doesn’t have what it takes to be President.

Why doesn’t he tell all of the citizens of California to grab their guns and fight tyranny. Oh, wait, it’s California. They only have 10 round magazines and hunting rifles. Oh well. I guess they’ll just have to riot.

OP Trump is madness but your post is actually dumber. Why would any gov eagerly engage upon what would only become a civil war? Trump is the President. I despise him but unless you are looking to start a civil war no job can just do what they want - even v Trump or whether T is right. You just have to abide by the government order no matter what and anyone with 1/2 a brain does.

There are many reasons that might happen in the end. A civil war is preferable to giving in to fascists. Burn it down and start again if that’s what need to be done.
