I love grilled foods, especially in the summer, and am always looking for new recipes.
But so many recipes call for the meat to marinate for 2-6 to be home in that 2-6 hour before dinner window. Is there a hack that would let me either put the meat in marinade in the morning and leave it for 10 hours or marinate if in 1/2 an hour. |
| I marinade in the am for most things. If it's a Long time, I add a little less garlic. But otherwise it's fine. |

It really doesn't matter.
That's more superstition than effect. Only certain acids/bases change the texture of the meat. Most marinades don't. Just OCD stuff for play cooking. |
| I often buy large quantities of chicken parts, then separate into freezer bags with a marinade in there so it marinate as it thaws out in the fridge. Also it’s ok to do full day marinade, maybe light on the citrus tho |
