Carey Wright's past in MD, thoughts?

Cross post from DC school forum. Carey Wright is our Chief Academic Officer. Parents in 202 don't seem to know much about her. She may be our only hope in short term during Rhee turbulence. Please help out your neighbors!

Anyone know Carey Wright? She's been in DCPS central for a year. Career in MD. Looks like she's basically in charge of everything but the buildings.

I worked with Dr. Wright in the HCPSS for a number of years when she was a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and director of special education. She is top notch and knows her stuff. You are damned lucky to have her on your team. Take advantage, treat her well (nicely), and she can do great things for DC schools.
