Anyone have feedback on this program? It looks like a good fit for my 9yo DD but I don’t know anyone who has done it. Wondering if it’s a more stand alone program or a feeder to club? Thx

It’s both. Lots of players do it standalone or as a club entry point. There’s also many current club players in the program in their “advanced” group. We loved it for our young daughter. It was a good balance between learning the fundamentals and having fun. If you go on to play club volleyball at U10/U11 you’ll be in a pretty good position to make a team. |

I've heard good things about it (but we've never done it). We do the MVSA fall league instead (which you can consider as an alternative). Both of them fill fast, so make sure you sign up as soon as they open registration. Price-wise, the MVSA fall league is a much better deal. If you are interested in making a MOCO team, it is definitely better to attend their fall program. We prefer MVSA because we know more players in that circle, plus the level of competition is higher. They have options for beginners as well, so you should not worry about your DD being out of her comfort zone. They have one session where they evaluate everyone's skills to make sure that each player learns and plays at their level. |
