Do you have an upholstery cleaner that you would recommend? Looking at the Bissel and Shark machines. We have two dogs who love to lounge on the sofas and would like to give them a good cleaning regularly.

I was looking at replacing my couch because of years of my two dogs and a cat sitting on it.
We brought it back to life pretty easily with the Little Green Machine thing by Bissell. We got the "pet pro" version of it. It has been pretty much perfect for this. Wish I had bought it years ago. |

It was quite startling, really. My couch literally smelled like dog and I was ready to just get rid of it as I'm getting a new couch anyway, but I thought "Why not try that Green Machine thing?" because I've been meaning to get one for spot cleaning on carpet anyway. And now I'm keeping that couch. The Green Machine is a wet extractor, so you will want to remove as much pet hair as possible with a regular vacuum or whatever pet-hair removing tool works for you beforehand. |

| The bissel is fine. A shop vac is fine too. It’s just a wet vac, don’t overthink it. But it is convenient to have the sprayer built in. |
