Ashley Kibler owes almost $170k for 414 tickets since 2019. 3 other MD / VA drivers are named. Finally! I hope more enforcement is coming.

| The thing about traffic cameras is that they really give you a lot of predictability -- you just have to obey the law when you pass the camera, and then you can pretty much do whatever you want everywhere else. So it is really careless (and brazen) to not even care enough to do that bare minimum of slowing down for the 15 or so seconds that you're passing by a camera. |

If there was any doubt that Maryland drivers are the worst...
Yes, one VA drier is named in the suit, but 3/4 are Marylanders. Also, this: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLPr1zaR0Qj/ |
| I can't wait to hear how it's all because of bikes and bike lanes. |
|
What does this mean?
"Kibler racked up 414 citations for traffic infractions across a DC driver’s license, two Maryland license plates, and two Virginia license plates. " Kibler held a DC license but was driving in cars with other state plates? They can't prove she was driving but was she owner of the cars? |
It means whatever shenanigans she was doing, the cars/plates were registered to her. So she's responsible. |
Case dismissed. They have the wrong driver. |
| Excellent. Now do public marijuana smoking. |
On a sample size of 4, you're making judgment? And with Kibler, who is one of the Marylanders, it seems she lived in Virginia for much of the time. I live in MD, and whenever I see a driver slowing down traffic or texting while driving, they disproportionately have VA plates. |
That's because the Marylanders have completely tinted windows. |

Previous lawsuits: 4 Virginia drivers, 1 Maryland driver

| Read the related story in the Post. MD drivers have racked up 50% more unpaid fines than VA drivers. |
| At this rate, they will have the problem totally fixed by 3029! |

I’m happy something is being done. DC passed the law to allow prosecuting non DC owners of the licenses / cars in 2024, they no longer need to prove who was driving.
Interesting case of Ashley l wonder why she had 4 cars registered to her name. And why they’re all such reckless drivers. |
