Just a little funny thing from today.
At the Towson freshman orientation, they did a parent Q&A session and a parent asked about receiving services at the school. The speaker confidently responded with, “I know you parents are used to high school IEP’s and 403B’s, but this is college…” I wish I was ignorant enough not to have had to navigate the huge world of special Ed and 504’s, but that terminology will be forever with me! And I really wish I had a 403b savings plan, but all my money went toward getting services for my son! Just made me smile! |

| That’s funny. We (parents) skipped the orientation so we missed that. Hope the orientation was helpful. On our earlier accepted students visit, I thought the school seemed pretty helpful when it came to special needs. |
