| I’m looking for a winery that has really pretty views from inside seating, that offers good nibbles on a weekday, within an hour of Fairfax. Does not need to be kid or dog friendly. Does not even need to have the best wine, tbh. Just getting together with a group of women friends and we want to be inside (cuz it’s too hot) and still enjoy a beautiful setting. Thanks for any suggestions! |

Hmmm…Personally I’d assume that if someone is asking for recommendations here they are interested in hearing about something that isn’t the first thing that comes up on Google and isn’t the easiest, most blah possible answer. OP- how about Naked Mountain in Markham? Big windows for good views from inside and a pretty extensive food menu. |

| Naked Mountain is a good move. A lot of the wineries with better wine don’t have much in the way of food but do allow picnics (so that’s an option). If you want to do that, go to Whole Ox in Marshall for the picnic food and then Linden. |

OP here—thanks so much. Naked Mountain looks perfect. Big Cork, mentioned by a pp, looks awesome, too but will save that for another time. The pictures of the inside of Big Cork, with barstools that look like corks, look awesome. I appreciate the suggestions! |

OP here— just looked this up on Yelp. Looks great! Thanks for another good suggestion. I think I need to get my kids into camp and just winery hop all summer. (But realistically I’ll go to one). |

+1 I'm local(ish) to this winery and it is a beautiful property and tasting room and the wines are pretty good too. Certain days of the week they have live music and a food truck, just check their website calendar. |
