How to get the best price for a used small hybrid SUV

We would like to buy a used Honda CRV Hybrid for our daughter for sophomore year in college (she’ll be making monthly payments from her part time job). We are paying cash and don’t want to spend more than 25k.

Looking for suggestions on how to find the best deal.

This kind of mileage is probably best you can get at your price point. It is on the high side but these must be highway miles which are easy on the car. I’d rather have 60k highway miles than 20k miles of short local trips. Read the free carfax to see if the car was well maintained.
